    When Lieutenant Dee O’Hara appeared on the nationally televised game show To Tell the Truth in 1962, she was introduced as “the official nurse, and the only nurse, assigned to the seven United States astronauts.” Although the two other contestants – one deceptively dressed in an Air Force uniform – did their best to fool the panel, they were no match for Dee.
